OES Extended Care

OES Extended Care is available for students aged 5 through the summer before entering 6th grade. There is a $10.00 per family yearly registration fee for the OES Extended Care Program. The registration fee will be applied from June 1 to May 31 each school year and will be charged to the credit card on file. If you are registering your child for the summer program you will not be required to pay an additional registration fee for the coming school year.

Before School ~ 6:30 a.m. to THE START OF SCHOOL
After School ~ END OF SCHOOL to 6:00 p.m.

Last Day 2024-2025: May 30th, beginning at 1:15pm as students are dismissed from school

School Year 2025-26: August 20th (first day)

The program follows the school calendar

In the event of a school cancellation after a two-hour delay, OES Extended Care will remain open. However, if school closes before 6:30, Extended Care is also closed.

Pricing and Registration Info

The hourly rate is $3.50 per hour for the first child, $2.00 per hour for the second child, and $1.50 per hour for each additional child. The hourly rate is billed to the quarter-hour. The Credit Card form in the registration packet MUST be filled out to register.

The Credit Card Form will be used to pay your Extended Care amount.

Summer Extended Care ~

Summer 2025 June 9 - August 8, closed June 19th for the Juneteenth Holiday and July 2-4 to recognize the 4th of July, summer extended care ends on August 8th

7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The summer OES Extended Care program is available to all Otsego elementary students 5 years old through fifth grade including those students who will be entering the sixth grade in the fall. The summer program will use the same space as the school year program in the Elementary Commons and adjoining spaces.

The OES Extended Care Staff are highly qualified and well-trained. The program has many activities planned to engage your child(ren) and keep them learning and growing all summer.
