Mrs. Buchman has been the assistant principal since 2019.  She was hired by the Otsego School District in 2000. Mrs. Buchman has taught special education, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade classes as well as Reading Recovery intervention to 1st graders. Mrs. Buchman earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Elementary Education with a concentration in Science from Bowling Green State University, a Reading Recovery Certification from The Ohio State University, a Masters of Educational Leadership with a Reading Endorsement from The University of Findlay, and became a National Board Certified Teacher. Most recently she completed the Principal Licensure program through the University of Findlay.  She and her husband have one son and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and gardening.
